Founded by Rosario Autore, The AUTORE Group is one of the largest South Sea pearl companies in the world.
Rosario's commitment to the industry for 38 years has truly revolutionised the international wholesaling of South Sea pearls. The development of a comprehensive pearl grading system and valuation service, together with his personal approach to business, earned the Group recognition and the respect of wholesale buyers, retailers and consumers around the world.

Some of the world's most beautiful coastline.
AUTORE's pearls are sourced directly from its own South Sea pearl farms — from the crystal-clear waters off the north and west coasts of Australia to the tropical islands of Indonesia.

Graded by hand and eye.
At our Sydney headquarters, South Sea pearls are graded by hand and eye for distribution to the world's most prestigious jewellery houses and wholesalers.
Our team of expert graders carefully grade and hand-select every single pearl. Alongside the preparation of loose pearl lots, 3,000 South Sea pearl strands are assembled at headquarters each year — making AUTORE one of the largest distributors of South Sea pearls in the world.

The AUTORE Jewellery Design Division was established in 2001 as a specialist pearl jewellery design entity. Its designers, technicians and jewellery experts research not only jewellery trends but fashion, colour and textile directions, creating innovative, contemporary pieces designed specifically for pearls, using the finest materials and craftsmanship under the highest levels of quality control.
Each pearl is individually hand-selected by skilled technicians, who match it to the hues and tones that best suit the precious and semi-precious stones in each piece.
